TICE is an excellent opportunity to be involved in portfolio building projects. We have a range of projects to choose from in a variety of creative disciplines.

A successful TICE student commits to the project they have chosen. They learn how to manage their time around other commitments they have in school or personally.

The TICE team are here to help and support you with your project every step of the way.

Below are some of the most common questions and answers about TICE projects.

Account Details

How do I login into my TICE Account?

You can login into your account on the TICE website at the very top of this page or here.

I have forgotten my password

When you click ‘sign in’ on your TICE account there is the option to reset your password by clicking “forgot password”. You will then receive an email on how to reset it.

Project Information

How long is my project?

On average, TICE projects are 10 weeks in duration from the starting week to post-production.

When does my TICE account close?

Your account will close a couple of days after the post-production deadline.

Post-Production

What is Post-production?

Post-production is the final editing process and this is your final deadline for your TICE project. Once you have submitted all of your work the TICE team will support you in producing your final project outcome. 

When do I receive my work back?

Your work will be returned to you a couple of weeks after your post-production deadline. We will showcase the final outcomes on our website. We will also give you copies of your final outcomes to download and print out if you’d like to.

TICE Documentary

What is TICE Documentary?

How many documentaries should I make?

That’s entirely up to you. We have ‘Suggested Documentary Points’ in the project and they are great times to think about recording your process. You can do as many as you would like to.

When do I submit my work?

There are dedicated submission points in your project. They are also outlined on your project brief. 

When do I submit my work?

Hopefully you won’t, but we understand there are personal circumstances that may arise. Please email us prior to your deadline to discuss an extension. If we do not hear from you after the deadline as passed we will assume you have left the project and we will close your TICE account.

Contacts

How do I contact my mentor?

You can contact your mentor by emailing: create@tice-uk.com . This email will be passed onto the relevant mentor and they will respond within 48 hours.

You can also use the ‘Discussion’ function on your TICE account. Your mentor will pick this up and respond to your request. 

Will I see my mentor face-to-face?

If your school has requested workshops alongside your digital projects then yes, we will see you face-to-face too. 

Sending Files

I have a problem sending in a file

First please check the size of your file. On the form there will be a maximum file size. If the work you are sending in is bigger than the maximum size allowed the form will not send. In the first instance, please reduce the file size and try the form again.  If this doesn’t work, please email us on create@tice-uk.clom

Collecting Your Certificate

Where do I collect my certifcate?

First, you have to have completed 100% of the project to receive your certificate. If you have not reached 100% please go back through the project and see what you may have not completed fully. When you have 100% you can download your certificate from your account.
