This is Creative Enterprise
"THIS IS CREATIVE ENTERPRISE, or TICE is a Community Interest Company or CIC.
Working with the brilliant businesses, schools, colleges and universities in our region, we give young people a taste of the opportunities that exist within the commercial creative, design and digital industries.
Whether students want to explore the fashion, textiles surface design, music industry, photography, software development, graphic design, illustration, creative enterprise, creative writing, film, digital media, or animation industries, TICE teaches them the steps they need to take to build a successful creative career."

Introducing the TICE programme
The TICE programme is a journey in three stages that culminates with a celebratory
final showcase for students, teachers, families and industry supporters.
The programme is updated each year and is designed to support students to explore
a range of options and discover what the current creative, design and digital industries are really all about.
With a choice of fashion, textiles surface design, music, photography, software
development, graphic design, illustration, creative enterprise, creative writing, film,
digital media and animation, the TICE programme showcases how creative sectors collaborate and integrate – and reveals the many opportunities such collaborations can present. Schools can choose to introduce one or more of the industries we cover to their students.

THE FACTS
Ebacc and Progress 8 performance measures are changing the focus of creative education within schools. This changing focus means that fewer young people are choosing to pursue careers in the creative sector. TICE is working to change this.
How can you help?
There are four ways in which you could support us to bring a unique and invaluable perspective to student learning outside the classroom. Each of which will help us to enable students across the north-east to explore the worlds of fashion, textiles surface design, music industry, photography, software development, graphic design, illustration, creative enterprise, creative writing, film, digital media, and animation.
